- Elizabeth & the port side
Towing in Elizabeth and the port side of Union County, NJ: the container terminals, Jersey Gardens, the airport edge and Turnpike Exits 13 and 13A
Elizabeth is the county seat and its busiest town, with a seaport on one side, the southern edge of Newark Liberty Airport on another, and the Turnpike cutting through at Exits 13 and 13A. It sits directly north of the Linden yard on Routes 1 & 9, so trucks reach it quickly and pass through it constantly.
What towing looks like on Elizabeth's port side, and which truck the county dispatcher sends
Elizabeth calls range from tractors and box trucks near the port and warehouses, to shoppers and hotel guests around Jersey Gardens, to cars stalled downtown near the Union County Courthouse and Trinitas, to residents on packed side streets in Elmora, Bayway and Elizabethport, all at the same $149 by phone or $129 when you book online.
The port and the warehouse district
The Port of Elizabeth moves containers around the clock, and the roads that serve it are full of tractors, chassis and box trucks. A breakdown there needs a medium or heavy-duty truck, and ours come from the same Linden yard a short drive south.
Carriers and warehouses that call often hold an account with one monthly invoice.
Jersey Gardens, the hotels and Exit 13A
The outlet mall's lots are enormous, so tell the dispatcher which entrance or store you parked near. The hotels nearby host airport travelers whose rentals sometimes refuse to start. Turnpike and Parkway shoulders are served by the Authority's authorized garages. Book with us and we take the car from the exit or the garage's lot.
Downtown, the courthouse and Trinitas
Broad Street and the blocks around the Union County Courthouse are dense, metered and busy with buses. Near Trinitas Regional Medical Center, visitors and staff sometimes return to dead batteries or locked cars. A wheel-lift works the tight curbs, and jump starts and lockouts are one flat price.
Elmora, Bayway and Elizabethport side streets
Rows of parked cars, narrow two-way streets and driveways shared by neighbors. Our driver can put a boxed-in car on skates and roll it out without touching the cars around it. Say the block and the cross street so the truck arrives from the right end.

Call nowElizabeth & the port side: common questions
Short answers to what people ask about this page; the dispatcher can answer the rest.
Can you tow a tractor or box truck near the Port of Elizabeth?
Yes. Medium and heavy-duty trucks from the same yard handle port and warehouse work. Tell the dispatcher the terminal or building so the driver knows which gate to use.
I am at Jersey Gardens and my car will not start. What happens?
The driver comes with a jump pack first, at one flat price. If the battery is finished, the tow is added on the same visit with no second callout.
Do you come to the Turnpike at Exit 13 or 13A?
On the New Jersey Turnpike and the Garden State Parkway the shoulder itself is served by the Turnpike Authority's authorized garages; book with us anyway, and once the authorized truck has the car off the highway we take it from the exit or the garage's lot to the shop or driveway you choose, at the same flat quoted price.
How far is your yard from Elizabeth?
Close. Linden borders Elizabeth to the south, and the trucks use Routes 1 & 9 between the two all day.
